Oguchi caught the attention of NBA teams following a 35-point performance against France in D'Tigers' final preliminary round game in the men's basketball tournament of the 2012 London Olympics.
Nigeria lost to France by 73-79 points, as they failed to secure passage into the next round of the tournament.
The 26-year-old played in the NBA D-League for Maine Red Claws in 2010/2011 season averaging 10 points per game.
He has played professional basketball in France, Lebanon and recently in the Philippines.
Oguchi is no stranger to international tournaments, as he was a member of the Nigerian team to the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
