Fourteen Gangsters Arrested Yesterday At Fadeyi



Fourteen Gangsters were arrested by the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences, yesterday in Fadeyi around 6.pm while trying to extort money from a generator dealer and detained in taskforce office Alausa.
The Chairman, 'Bayo Sulaimon' who confirmed the arrest of the gangsters said the taskforce has been on their trail for long, due to the information giving to them.

He added that the gangsters have been operating in the area, demanding for N100, 000 to N300, 000 from the wholesalers whenever they are trying to offline their good, and if they refuse to accept their demands, they could attack them.
He further added that the gangsters are charged under criminal offence and they would be arraigned in court and punished according to law.
Sulaimon emphasized that government would no long tolerate such act and whosoever is caught would be prosecuted.
