Different stories on the issue of police killings have been coming up for the past few months and here is another bitter story the police brought to life.
On Thursday a man was allegedly shot dead by the police after brushing their patrol van.
This incident happened in Iperu, Remo North local government area of Ogun State. It was also known that two others who were also involved in the incident sustained bullet wounds. According to eye witnesses, they said the incident occurred when the deceased allegedly brushed a police patrol van along the Sagamu/Benin express way.
Right after the people of Iperu got aware of the bitter incident occurred, the residents in the area engaged in physical combat with the police which lead to the burning of the same patrol van.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the Ogun State Police Public Relation Officer however aware of the incident expressed how displeased about the action of the Police plus equally saying that investigation as immediately commenced and if the accused police is found guilty, he would equally face the wrought of the law.
