Photos: Something You Should Know About Lagos

Lagos, the "Centre of Excellence", Lasgidi, "the city of hustle", the city where dreams come true, the same city where anything and everything happens. Lot of things could be found in Lagos, great people have emerged from Lagos, the city where i was raised not born for your info lol, because i arrived in Lagos when i clocked one , the city where different people from different states in the country, Nigeria and the rest of the world assemble for different objectives.

In this city, there's rich, there's poor, but only one thing binds us together, and that's, "HUSTLE". Most people you find in Lagos are not from there biologically, but residing for survival, both young and old. I'm not saying Lagos is the only place one could survive in Nigeria but saying, it's a busy city, where you'll find different jobs people engaged themselves in, every working day, you'll see different people, walking, jogging, running, not minding what they wear, but get to their work place in time.

Those who got cars ride so fast to avoid traffic, and that's one thing about Lagos, you can't escape traffic. Sometimes, when the traffic is so much, it becomes so frustrating; the big men get down from their ride, taking a bike to their various destinations, all because, bike makes it easier and faster. I've seen it so please don't doubt it :) . But for those who decide to board commercial buses, where it's highly competitive in work days, you will find people waiting, impatiently, just to get into one of the commercial buses, as soon as they arrive. One bus arrives, that's when you see people struggle to board it; they get inside, you find them all panting heavily, like they've just run 3000m lol. It’s all about hustle, like i said before. I could remember those days, the commercial bus popularly known as
                                                                         "MO LU E"
was still everyone's special transport means in Lagos then, if you are from Lagos or a Nigerian, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about, *wink*, but if you’re not from Nigeria, or not in Nigeria, this bus is indeed a big transport of hustling, for most Lagosians involved, lol. Once this bus arrives as usual, people, rush like it's the last bus in town, they make sure they board it rapidly, through every hole available in that bus. From both door entrances, through the windows, no matter how small it is lol...Like i said, "HUSTLE" and that's Lagos for you. Then Governor "Babatunde Raji Fashola", made the LAG BUS available
so with the ticket sold to the Lagosians before they could be allowed on the available buses. Well to kiss the dust, that made it easier for people, but sincerely, it got to a time people were fed up of waiting and queuing, they missed the rushing, and struggling days for buses, you know, it's interesting though, while some people struggle for bus, some would stand and start laughing, while they watch people fall in the process, muahhahahah, some pity others though. People still find, the commercial buses interesting, they've missed it, please don't blame them, they are not used to queuing but rushing for buses, they missed the fun in the bus, because they find it amusing, people would always make you laugh not matter what, either you see people arguing and saying funny things, or the bus conductor himself act funny. Preachers preach the word of God while the bus speeds lol. But its the other way round when it comes to boarding a LAG BUS.

So which one would you find interesting? Everything is in order now; you'll find the "Big Buses" mostly on the mainland, Not Island....
Talking about lifestyle? Very easy to adapt, as a newbie. Trust me; it's a city where you'll find the gorgeous ladies and finest boys, rocking every hood and club, especially weekends on the Island. Lagos is where it's happening, it's where you get blended, where you get smart, where you'll wise up, you make it here, and you can make it anywhere. Most foreigners who got the experience of the city, compares it with New York City,

but i must i tell you, it's incomparable, the surviving spirit in Lagos, is only meant for strong and competent mortals. People survive much, even without electricity; they keep their business going with no power, and still survived even when the ugliest rules were implemented. It takes God's grace to have it settled between the government and its people.... Can New York Survive without electricity? Fellas survive, ladies survive, no one gives excuses for their backgrounds either rich or poor, we all have equaled believes, and that is earning big.
Lots of celebration happens, on different dates, speaking of the........................
